English Abstract This report presents the monitoring network
configuration of the National Radioactivity Monitoring Network (NRM). The
NRM is to be constructed of the monitoring networks of the Fire Services
Department of the Ministry of the Interior, the Interior Monitoring Network
of Nuclear Incidents (BMNI), and of VROM/RIVM, the Dutch Monitoring Network
(LMR). The NMR network will be a modular monitoring network configuration,
providing radiological information for the measuring strategies of both RIVM
and the Fire Services Department of the Ministry of the Interior. The
joining of the BMNI and LMR subsystems will be executed by an exchange of
data with the central NMR system in Bilthoven. This report describes the
necessary adjustments to integrate the two monitoring networks as efficient
as possible.
Rapport in het kort
In dit rapport wordt de meetnetconfiguratie van het
Nationaal Meetnet Radioactiviteit (NMR) gepresenteerd. Het NMR zal
opgebouwd worden uit de bestaande meetnetten van de
Rampenbestrijdingsorganisatie van Binnenlandse Zaken, het Binnenlandse Zaken
Meetnet Nucleaire Incidenten (BMNI), en van VROM/RIVM, het Landelijk Meetnet
Radioactiviteit (LMR). Het NMR wordt een modulair opgebouwde
meetnetconfiguratie, die zowel aan het RIVM als aan de
Rampenbestrijdingsorganisatie van Binnenlandse Zaken voldoende radiologische
meetgegevens moet aanleveren voor beider meetstrategieen. Koppeling van de
huidige BMNI en LMR subsystemen van het NMR zal plaatsvinden door
uitwisseling van gegevens met het centrale NMR systeem in Bilthoven. In het
rapport worden de noodzakelijk geachte aanpassingen beschreven om het
integratietraject zo doelmatig mogelijk te laten
verlopen.
