English Abstract The Laboratory for Waste Materials and Emissions
initiated an inventory of landfills in the Netherlands in 1991. Most
important part of the data was information about available and planned
capacity. The inventory resulted in an allmost complete survey of the
landfill capacity. in the Netherlands in the year 1991, being: available
capacity: 80 millions m3 planned capacity: 88 millions m3. At the actual
rate of dumping the 1991-available capacity is expected to be exhausted by
the end of 1995. This report also presents some data of the landfill
locations (e.g. addresses, owners etc.) and technical data. The data is
frequently adapted to new incoming information. Apart to that a regular
structured update at a yearly frequency or shorter is
planned.
