Early signalling and assessment of (emerging) zoonoses in a One Health approach is essential for efficient risk management. This should be done on a local, regional, national and even European level. This meeting is aimed at Public Health Institutes, Veterinary Institutes and policy makers from all European member states to discuss how to organise surveillance, risk analysis and management of (emerging) zoonoses in an integrated manner.
The aim of this meeting is to exchange experiences and discuss current activities in the field of risk analysis and management of zoonoses in the public health and veterinary domain, how they are integrated per country and what is preferred at national and European levels, ultimately aiming at improving One Health risk analysis structures at the European level.
