After exposure of adult male zebrafish to the non-aromatisable androgen 17a-methyldihydrotestosterone (MDHT), Sertoli cells are more prominent than in non-exposed specimen, due to nuclear hypertrophy. The clustered appearance of these cells in the bottom image suggests proliferation.
