English Abstract The ozone concentrations measured at the regional
monitoring station in Loenen in summer 1991 were considered to be
suspiciously low. Measurement results were analysed and it was found that
the station's results were - probably due to emissions from local traffic -
not representative for ozone levels in the region. The decision was taken
to relocate the station. At the proposed new location measurement have been
undertaken using a mobile monitoring station ; these have indicated that
the new site is not influenced by traffic and does provide regionally
representative values.
