Bereikcijfers van leefstijlinterventies : Eerste ervaringen met het registreren van bereikcijfers in de Interventiedatabase

English Abstract
A new tab that consisted of a number of questions on the reach and implementation of interventions was introduced in the Intervention-database in 2011 Professionals from 37 organizations have registered reach-data of 77 interventions in the I-database of the RIVM's Centre for Healthy Living. Most of these interventions are executed by Municipal public health services (GGD'en). Many organizations are aware of the importance of registering reach-data. Some organizations register reach-data in their own system(s). For some organizations, the registration of reach-data is new. For other organizations registering these type of data is not new, but doing so in the I-database is. A majority of the organizations believe that all information of importance can be registered in the I-database and that the stated questions are clear. The Idatabase however is not yet considered 100% user-friendly by all organizations.

For those organizations who have not yet (or only partially) entered reach data in the I-database, the most important barrier appears to be a lack of time and financial resources. They also state that the goal and the purpose of registering reach-data are not completely clear to them. In spite of all mentioned barriers, a majority of these organizations favors the idea of creating more transparency on the basis of reach-data.

In 2012, the Centre for Healthy Living will continue to spent time and effort on the implementation of the tab ?reach and implementation' in the I-database. Change by itself, including the registration of reach-data in the I-database, requires time and attention. In 2012, directors of organizations will be involved in the implementation process, the questions will be adapted based on user feedback, and the level of user-friendliness of the I-database will be improved by developing a new database in cooperation with NISB. The above mentioned findings are based on the evaluation of the registration of reach-data in the I-database.

In januari 2011 werd aan de Interventiedatabase (I-database) van het RIVM Centrum Gezond Leven een faciliteit toegevoegd om het bereik van leefstijlinterventies te registreren. Professionals uit 37 organisaties hebben van 77 interventies bereikcijfers ingevoerd in de I-database. De meeste van deze interventies worden uitgevoerd door GGD'en. Veel organisaties zien het belang van registratie van bereikcijfers in. Een aantal organisaties registreert bereikcijfers in eigen systemen. Voor sommige organisaties is het vastleggen van bereikcijfers nieuw. Voor andere organisaties is niet het vastleggen van bereikcijfers nieuw, maar is het een verandering om dit in de I-database te doen. Het merendeel is van mening dat ze alle belangrijke informatie kunnen vastleggen in de I-database en dat de vragen duidelijk zijn. De I-database wordt daarbij niet altijd als voldoende gebruiksvriendelijk beschouwd.

Voor organisaties die niet alle of die geen bereikcijfers hebben ingevoerd in de I-database is een van belangrijkste redenen gebrek aan tijd en geld. Daarbij melden ze dat het doel en het nut van de invoer van bereikcijfers hun niet voldoende duidelijk is. Ondanks genoemde knelpunten is een ruime meerderheid voorstander van het inzichtelijk maken van bereikcijfers.

Het CGL gaat in 2012 verder met het promoten om bereikcijfers vast te leggen in de I-database. Elke verandering, zoals ook het vastleggen van het bereik in de I-database, kost tijd en heeft langere tijd aandacht nodig. De implementatie zal ook op bestuurlijk niveau een ingang krijgen. Ondertussen wordt de vragenlijst aangepast aan wensen van gebruikers en wordt de gebruiksvriendelijkheid aangepakt door samen met het NISB aan een nieuwe verbeterde database te werken.
