English Abstract
Medicinal Cannabis can be legally supplied by pharmacists to patients from the first of September 2003, although still only on prescription. The quality of this product is tested conform the monograph Cannabis flos. In this monograph tests and quality standards, such as characteristics, loss on drying, content of delta 9 -trans-tetrahydrocannabinol, microbial contamination, and pesticide residues are given. In this report the monograph is described together with a short explanation.

Vanaf 1 september 2003 mogen apothekers op voorschrift van een huisarts of specialist aan patienten medicinale cannabis verstrekken. De kwaliteit van dit product wordt getest conform de monografie Cannabis flos. In deze monografie zijn testen en kwaliteitseisen beschreven, onder andere met betrekking tot de kenmerken, gewichtsverlies door drogen, het gehalte delta 9 -trans-tetrahydrocannabinol, microbiologische contaminatie en pesticiden. In dit rapport is de monografie beschreven, inclusief een korte toelichting.
