English Abstract
Air measurements during a soil remediation of a gasoline-polluted site in the town centre of Deil. During a soil remediation in the town centre of Deil (in the Netherlands) measurements were performed for peak and semi-chronic exposure to pollution compounds in the immediate vicinity of the soil remediation site. From the investigation peak exposures were shown to occur only during the treatment of polluted soil. Concentrations of the pollution compounds in the air showed a rapid decrease as the distance to the soil sanitation site increased. The pre-set limit values for the concentration of the polluting compounds in the air were not exceeded during the investigation. A general framework for assessing exposure to combinations of compounds has not yet been developed.

Tijdens een bodemsanering in het centrum van Deil zijn metingen uitgevoerd naar piekblootstellingen en semichronische blootstellingen aan verontreinigingscomponenten in de directe omgeving van de saneringslocatie. Uit het onderzoek is gebleken dat piekblootstellingen slechts optraden bij beroering van de verontreinigde grond, en de concentraties verontreinigingen in de lucht snel afnamen met de afstand tot de saneringslocatie. Gedurende het onderzoek zijn de vooraf vastgestelde grenswaarden voor de verontreinigingscomponenten in de lucht niet overschreden. Een algemeen beoordelingskader voor blootstelling aan combinaties van componenten is nog niet ontwikkeld.
