English Abstract
The State Health Inspectorate of the Dutch Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning and the Environment has commissioned RIVM to develop a method to determine 14C in the waste water of nuclear installations. The report describes the method, measuring both organic and inorganic 14C, and validation.

In opdracht van de Hoofdinspectie Milieuhygiene van het ministerie van VROM heeft LSO een methode ontwikkeld om 14C in afvalwater van nucleaire installaties te bepalen. De methode meet organisch gebonden-14C en anorganisch-14C in de vorm van carbonaat (14CO32-) in afvalwater. Het rapport beschrijft de methode en de validatieprocedure.
