English Abstract
This report contains a proposal for an indicator to measure the effectivity of the environmental policy with regard to the theme "Verspreiding" of the Directorate-General for Environmental Protection. It is recommended to use a method which indicates the toxicity of organic pollutants as present in the environment. The method combines the advantages of both chemical and biological methods. The method requires less developmental research and could be incorporated into an integrated national environmental measuring network on a short notice. Finally the usefulness of the pT is indicated in relation to the identification of emission sources and hazardous chemical compounds, as well as in relation to ecodistrict differentiated AMOEBE- presentations.
