English Abstract This report presents data of sorted components of
domestic waste in average weight percentages for the year 1991. The quality
of domestic waste depends on a variety of factors: standards and habits of
living, degree of industrialization, size of the region or community,
seasonal variations. Taking these factors into account specific districts
have been selected in the following municipalities: - Arnhem (one-family
houses, apartment buildings) - Amsterdam (old district) - Amsterdam (new
district) - Overasselt (situated in a rural area in the vicinity of the city
of Nijmegen).
