English Abstract
The study is aimed at short and middle-term solutions for separation, handling and processing of waste from the building sector for the purpose of reuse. Qualitative and quantitative preventive measures also receive attention. In view of the large scope of this subject, the development of technology related to the application of new (more environmental-friendly) materials and to the design of (standard) products falls outside the area of focus. The main goal of this research programme is to give direction to research-projects for the 'Regulation on the Advancement of Environmental Technology', a regulation of the Ministry of Housing, Physical Planning and the Environment (VROM).
