This seminar is meant to further introduce stated preference methods in health care and public health research. We hope to bring together all those interested in measuring individuals preferences for health related products or interventions. Ultimately, we like to facilitate a platform to share knowledge and to explore opportunities for future collaboration.
The FERG symposium 'The Global burden of foodborne diseases' will be held in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. WHO’s Foodborne Disease Burden Epidemiology Reference Group (FERG) is providing estimates of the global burden of foodborne diseases, according to age, sex and region, for a defined list of causative agents of microbial, parasitic, and chemical origin, thereby strengthening the capacity of countries to assess the burden of foodborne disease and increasing awareness and commitment for the implementation of food safety standards.
The Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) is to provide high quality training courses for the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA).
