The Public Health Foresight Study (in Dutch: VTV) provides an overview of the most important future developments in disease and health, determinants of health, and prevention and health care in the Netherlands. The Public Health Foresight study is a four-yearly publication of RIVMNational Institute for Public Health and the Environment commissioned by the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport (VWS).

Future trends are based on the analysis of historic trends and modelling, completed with results from literature searches and opinions of experts. RIVMNational Institute for Public Health and the Environment consults various stakeholders from policy, research and health care practice for the production of the Public Health Foresight Study.
