Please note: this activity has already taken place. We thank everyone who attended the start-up and we hope to have inspired you to contribute to the SAMIRA Joint Action. If you have questions or want to partake in the Joint Action, you can mail the SAMIRA-PrISMA project coordinators (samira@rivm.nl). This is regardless whether you participated at the start-up workshop or not.
On 29 and 30 April 2025, a workshop on the activities of the joint action and their future projects will take place both online and in Zagreb, Croatia. During the workshop, the consortium members and stakeholders will discuss the work that has been done so far, including draft guidelines and recommendations with the stakeholders, and the plans for the future joint action. The stakeholder target group consists of medical professionals, clinical physicists and other experts from all over Europe in the field of medical radiation.
Aims of the start-up
- Facilitating stakeholder engagement in shaping the contents and structure of the future Joint Action
- Enhancing participants' understanding of quality and safety concepts within the context of the PrISMA project
- Foster collaboration among stakeholders to align objectives and strategies for the upcoming Joint Action

The programme is spread over 2 days and consists of several presentations and 2 breakout sessions. The start-up is hybrid and free to attend, but note that only the plenary sessions are available online. An overview with all activities, and which ones can be followed online, can be found in the draft programme. If you want to attend the start-up on location in Zagreb, exclusive room rates are available for the Westin hotel. Please email samira@rivm.nl before the end of March if you would like to take advantage of this.
