Nicoline Tamsma has been elected to serve a new two-year term as EuroHealthNet president. EuroHealthNet is a European network organisation of public health and health promotion institutes. Its mission is to help build healthier communities and tackle health inequalities within and between European States. RIVM is a member of this network.
Ms Tamsma is Co-ordinating Adviser International Affairs at RIVM, where her main role is to advise the executive management on international policy and strategy. Within that remit, her specific focus is on RIVM’s public health, health services and health promotion portfolio.
She has been president of EuroHealthNet since June 2014. On July 14, the newly established Board anonymously agreed to re-confirm her in this role following her re-election as an Executive Board member by the 2016 General Council.
