Improved methods for clinical investigation and evaluation of high-risk medical devices

CORE-MD started in April 2021 and will run for three years. The project will review methodologies for the clinical evaluation of high-risk medical devices and recommend new designs to set an appropriate balance between innovation, safety, and clinical effectiveness.

Consortium

The CORE–MD consortium includes 22 partners involved in the development, evaluation, approval and certification, clinical use, and monitoring of medical devices.
