RIVM’s Behaviour and Health department in the Netherlands hosts a WHO Collaborating Centre on Behavioural Science for Health Emergency Preparedness and Resilience. Our mission is to include behavioural science in health emergency preparedness and response.

In the context of the Behavioural Insights Pandemic Preparedness project, RIVM develops and shares quarterly literature updates on behavioural science for health emergencies. These updates provide an overview of the recent relevant publications in the field. Each edition focuses on a specific topic or question to give readers a quick overview of current developments. Professionals and others are welcome to sign up and send in suggestions for topics or questions related to behaviour, infectious diseases, and preparedness to behaviour.and.health@rivm.nl.

We will select from the submitted suggestions and aim to cover a variety of topics throughout the year. When submitting a suggestion, we encourage formulating the question as concretely as possible, for example by specifying the target group, behaviour, and context.
