The used accident data is taken from the accident database of the Dutch Labour Inspectorate. This database contains investigated reportable accidents.
Not all reportable accidents in the Netherlands are reported. Although we do assume that all fatal accidents are reported. This means that the model predicts the risk of reported reportable accidents and not all reportable accidents.
