RIVM has commissioned ABDTOPconsult to do an independent exploratory study on systematic approaches to organising and incorporating the current RIVM COVID-19 Vaccination Programme.
The exploratory study will involve reviewing documentation and conducting interviews. Partners within the organisation and external partners will be contacted to request an interview and additional information. This involves various external organisations, such as the Association of Dutch General Practitioners (LHV), the Municipal Public Health Services (GGDs), the Health and Youth Care Inspectorate (IGJ), the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport (VWS), the Dutch Hospital Association (NVZ), the Health Council of the Netherlands, Verweij Jonker Instituut, and the Council for Health and Society (RVS).
Conclusions and recommendations
Based on the documentation and interviews, ADBTOPConsult will assess the following:
- whether the RIVM COVID-19 Vaccination Programme should be incorporated into RIVM line management;
- if so, how that should take place and what terms and conditions should be applied;
- and when and/or in which phases that should take place.
Based on an analysis of all information, ABDTOPConsult will then formulate its conclusions and recommendations in an advisory report, which will be presented in October 2021 to RIVM, as the commissioning client for this exploratory study. A decision will then be made based on that advisory report.
