As of today, people born in 1971 can schedule an appointment online via www.coronavaccinatie-afspraak.nl for vaccination by the Municipal Public Health Services (GGDs). At that appointment, they will receive the Pfizer/BioNTech or Moderna vaccine. They will receive the invitation letter for COVID-19 vaccination from 1 June on, and can then also schedule an appointment by telephone. In total, there are 462,000 people who were born in 1972 and 1973.
More than one invitation
People who have already been vaccinated are removed from the invitation lists wherever possible. This may take time if the vaccination data has not (yet) been received by RIVM National Institute for Public Health and the Environment . As a result, people may receive more than one invitation. People who have already been vaccinated, for example care workers, can disregard the second invitation.
By now, the GGDs have opened 136 vaccination sites where people can go to get vaccinated.
