In 2020, the estimated costs of foodborne infections in the Netherlands were 140 million euros lower than in the preceding year. This corresponds to a 30% decrease.

Strong decline of tuberculosis in the Netherlands

Het aantal mensen met tuberculose in Nederland is in 2017 sterk gedaald. In 2016 waren er nog 887 tbc-patiënten, in 2017 waren dat er 787.
