For thirty years, RIVM has been using the PIENTER study to determine how well we are protected against infectious diseases in the Netherlands. It provides many valuable insights into public health in the Netherlands.

What is the PIENTER study?

The PIENTER study investigates the protection of the Dutch population against infectious diseases. RIVM has been conducting the PIENTER study every 10 years since 1996. Thousands of people of all ages across the Netherlands, including the Caribbean Netherlands, participate in PIENTER.
