WorldPride Amsterdam: practical health advice from WHO, ECDC and RIVM
 

WorldPride will take place from 25 July to 8 August. This year, the event is being held in Amsterdam. During these weeks, an estimated several hundred thousand to one million people from all over the world will come together to meet and celebrate. A large proportion of visitors are expected to come from abroad.

ECDC, WHO and RIVM provide practical advice on staying healthy before, during and after the event. The advice covers infectious disease topics such as vaccination, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), mpox and dermatophilosis, as well as issues such as heat, UV radiation, and food and water safety.

By following this guidance, visitors can enjoy the event without worry while also taking steps to protect themselves and others.
