Provide technical input to support WHO in developing health estimates on foodborne diseases and inform WHO’s work to support Member States on microbiological hazards/risks in food.
Microbial Water Safety
With respect to risk assessment for water related pathogens, provide technical input to support WHO in developing international standards, guidelines and guidance materials and dissemination thereof, and to support WHO’s activities with capacity building, awareness raising, and technical support.
Antimicrobial resistance
Support WHO in developing international standards, guidance materials, and on request of WHO, to provide technical assistance to Member States in the field of antimicrobial resistance in a One Health approach.
