Samenvatting
Vaccination participation is not equally high across all groups in society. What actions, strategies, and measures can support vaccination uptake? Based on a literature review, the RIVM SocioVax program advises implementing vaccination interventions locally and nationally that have been proven effective. Think of interventions to provide people with good information, support them in making an informed decision, and make vaccinations as accessible as possible. Implementing a coordinated set of multiple interventions seems to work best. For example, accessible information combined with a nearby and trusted vaccination location. Sharing the evaluations of implemented interventions, even when they were not effective, helps to develop knowledge about what does and does not work.
