Abstract

Which part of the parents have doubts about the vaccination of their children? And what factors are related to this? The RIVM programme SocioVax examined this with a questionnaire monitor. This shows that one in six parents experiences some sort of doubt about vaccinating their children, and that vaccination doubts are most common among parents who have their children partially vaccinated. One of the recommendations from SocioVax's brief literature review is therefore to offer targeted information per vaccine and to take doubts seriously. This helps strengthen parents' trust in healthcare providers and the government.
