The Center has expertise in Quantitative Microbial Risk Assessment used to estimate public health risk from exposure to human pathogens in food and water through consumption and recreation.

We have developed tools to assess risks such as QMRAspot for surface water. Furthermore, risk assessment as part of the WHO Water Safety Plans as well as EU European Union (European Union ) Bathing Water Profiles are available. More information on the developed tools.
