Abstract

Within the meta map presentation system GeoView maps with spatial data are described. These maps can be presented with special computer application software. To the user only the shell around this software is visible. In the Geographic Information System Package Arc/Info, the shell consists of the computer program 'STUUR'. 'STUUR' is the Dutch translation for 'to send'. With 'STUUR' the user is able to send a map to a specified output-device.
