Samenvatting
Het RIVM voert surveillance van respiratoire infecties uit en gebruikt hiervoor indicatoren uit verschillende informatiebronnen. De vernieuwing van de surveillance is gebaseerd op de methode 'AEDSEO' waarmee voor alle indicatoren iedere week wordt bepaald of deze boven een vastgestelde drempelwaarde ligt en of er sprake is van een significante groei. Dit document beschrijft kort de methode en de drempelwaarden voor de verschillende indicatoren voor het respiratoire seizoen 2026/2027.
Abstract
The RIVM conducts surveillance of respiratory infections and uses indicators from various information sources for this purpose. The renewal of the surveillance is based on the 'AEDSEO' method. This method is used to determine every week for all indicators whether they exceed an established threshold value and whether there is significant growth. This document briefly describes the method and the threshold values for the various indicators for the respiratory season 2026/2027.
