Samenvatting
Ter ondersteuning van het (Nationale Omgevingsvisie)-programma Bodem, Ondergrond en Grondwater (BOG), heeft het ministerie van (Ministerie van Infrastructuur en Waterstaat) het RIVM gevraagd een verkenning uit te voeren van de bodemafdekking op Rijksgronden (gronden in eigendom van de Rijksoverheid). Dit onderzoek geeft inzicht in de bodemafdekking van de Rijksgronden aan de hand van twee onderzoeksvragen: [1] In hoeverre brengen de huidige basisregistraties de bodemafdekking in kaart? en [2] In hoeverre draagt een aanvullende analyse bij aan het completer in kaart brengen van bodemafdekking? Vervolgens wordt voor de verschillende beherende organisaties van Rijksgronden de ontwikkeling in bodemafdekking over de tijd inzichtelijk gemaakt.
Abstract
To support the NOVI Programme Bodem, Ondergrond en Grondwater (Soil, Subsurface and Groundwater), the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management (IenW) commissioned the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) to conduct an exploratory study of soil sealing on publicly owned land managed by the national government (state-owned land). The study provides insight into the extent of soil sealing on state-owned land by addressing two key research questions: (1) To what extent do the current national base registries capture soil sealing? and (2) To what extent can a supplementary analysis contribute to a more comprehensive assessment of soil sealing? In addition, the study examines how soil sealing has evolved over time across the various government organisations responsible for managing state-owned land.
