First vaccination figures for autumn round of COVID-19 repeat vaccination
From this week on, RIVM will start posting updates on vaccination figures for the autumn round of the repeat vaccination against COVID-19. The autumn round started last week, on 19 September 2022.
Repeat vaccination against COVID-19: risk groups first, then everyone 12 and up
The first invitations for a repeat vaccination against COVID-19 will be received by people in the Netherlands on 13 September 2022. RIVM will invite the oldest people first, and will then send an invitation to everyone aged 60 years and older.
Reminders for booster jab and repeat vaccination against COVID-19
Adults who have not yet had a booster jab or repeat vaccination against COVID-19 will receive a reminder letter from RIVM, starting Friday 8 July 2022.
COVID-19 vaccination figures more up-to-date due to optimised monitoring
RIVM has been publishing national and regional figures on COVID-19 vaccination in the Netherlands every week since 19 January 2021.

People with impaired immunity invited for repeat vaccination
From 19 April on, people who have moderately or severely impaired immunity will receive their invitation for a repeat vaccination against COVID-19.
RIVM recalls fill needles for COVID-19 vaccination at supplier’s request
As of today, RIVM is recalling the fill needles made by MLS/Sol-Millenium Europe as a precaution, following a safety alert from the supplier. This applies to the SOL-M™ Blunt Fill Needle (REF 110022, LOT 05103013).
Repeat vaccination against COVID-19 now also available for over-60s
People aged 60 to 69 years (and people who turn 60 this year) will also have the opportunity to make an appointment for an extra COVID-19 vaccination. Minister Kuipers decided this based on advice from the Health Council of the Netherlands.
