Together with WHO, RIVMNational Institute for Public Health and the Environment has drawn up an action plan for the WHO Collaborating Centre on Chemical Food Safety
Terms of Reference (ToR)
- Coordination of the collection of world-wide individual food consumption data for the GEMS/Food programme; analysis of the data in collaboration with WHO and development of a format for a food consumption database. More on our present activities regarding food consumption data and maintenance.
- Improvement and international harmonisation of deterministic risk assessment methods used by WHO for food risk assessment. Exploration of possibilities for implementation of novel methodology, including probabilistic modelling and cumulative risk assessment for JECFA and JMPR. More on our present activities regarding probabilistic exposure modelling and BMD modelling.
