Water safety planning & Climate resilience Projects
Millions of people lack access to safe drinking water. Pathogens in drinking water are one of the greatest risks to public health. Water quality monitoring, including testing the microbial quality of water and safe management of water supplies ensure drinking-water safety and thus protect public health. In the WHO European and African region, RIVM contributes through its WHO Collaborating Centre for Risk Assessment of Pathogens in food and water.
