National Monitoring of the Colorectal Cancer Screening Programme

To ensure the quality of the colorectal cancer screening programme, it is necessary to carry out monitoring and evaluation of the screening programme. The colorectal cancer screening programme falls under the responsibility of the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM). The national monitoring and evaluation of the colorectal cancer screening programme are carried out by independent, external organisations on behalf of RIVM.

Prevention Programmes and Public Health Upscaling

Established RIVM tasks have been combined into a new RIVM domain: Prevention Programmes and Public Health Upscaling. The domain has two primary tasks: to organise prevention programmes, such as population screening, immunisation programmes and other screenings, and to ensure that the Netherlands can rapidly scale up the public health response during large-scale infectious disease outbreaks.

SIA toolbox

(Note: This SIA Toolbox is a concept version!!) The SIA Toolbox is a set of tools, guidances and checklists to be used by innovators and regulators along the innovation chain. It supports both improved dealing with new safety issues of innovative nanomaterials and nanomaterial containing products and improved regulatory preparedness. You will be guided through this SIA Toolbox via 2 questions: 1. In which phase of the innovation process are you interested in? 2. Are you interested in tools addressing the Risks, Costs, Benefits, or a combination of these elements? After selecting your choices, a list with tools will appear which are applicable for your specific situation. The SIA Toolbox is part of the NanoReg2 (NR2) project. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement 64622.
