The Public Health Monitors provide information on the health, wellbeing and lifestyle of Dutch citizens. The results support municipalities, provinces and the national government in their policymaking.

The Municipal Public Health Services (GGDs), GGD GHOR Netherlands, the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) and Statistics Netherlands (CBS) collaborate to conduct this research. Every GGD gathers data in the same way, which yields results on national, regional and local level. There are three national Public Health Monitors for the target groups youth, young adults and adults and elderly.

Public Health Monitor Youth
