The COVID-19 pandemic and the associated behavioural measures and recommendations that were implemented had an impact on the day-to-day lives of people, and therefore affected their well-being. Well-being is also relevant for the ability to maintain measures over a longer time period.
Research
The cohort survey-based study (only in Dutch) assessed the psychological health and loneliness of survey participants during the pandemic, until September 2022.
After the cohort survey-based study came to an end, these questions were incorporated into the trend analysis (only in Dutch).
In addition, in-depth insights on how the measures affected the well-being of people in the Netherlands were collected in several rounds of interviews and focus groups (only in Dutch).
